About Us

Our founder, Salih Kamiloğlu, was engaged in wholesale honey trading in the 1980s. He sourced honey from the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions and sold it wholesale in Istanbul. In the 1990s, he began supplying some of Türkiye’s largest companies, which led him to travel across the country not only the East and Southeast, but all of Türkiye.

After years of exploring Türkiye’s plateaus, plains, and mountains and experiencing its rich flora and honey diversity firsthand, he created the BALLIBAĞ brand, one of the first in Türkiye to package dozens of distinct honey varieties without blending. In 2009, he opened a honey store at İstinyePark Shopping Center, offering consumers a carefully selected range of honeys, each with its own unique taste and aroma.
